Dear Parent/ carer, On Friday 27th January 2017, LDE UTC will close at the earlier time of 3.10pm to all students, this will mean our weekly celebration assembly will not take place.
School will close to all staff and students at 3.30pm today (Monday 9th January 2017).
The London Design and Engineering (LDE) UTC opened its doors to its first cohort of students on 6 September 2016.

Stephen Timms MP and Gold Medal Winning Olympian Mark Hunter MBE Support London Design and Engineering UTC
On Wednesday 14th October Stephen Timms, MP for East Ham and Gold Medal Winning Olympian Mark Hunter MBE attended an event which showcased a brand new technical school opening in East Ham in 2015 called London Design and Engineering UTC.
A survey* published by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) last Thursday 2 October shows that 88% of businesses overwhelmingly feel that many young people are not adequately prepared for the workplace.
